      <title>sri yantra mystery of geometric construction</title>

      <description>&lt;div&gt;So, I have been looking for methods of constructing a precise and accurate sri yantra pattern and, or the life of me, I cannot find any methods that have worked so far.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;My understanding is that in a perfectly drawn pattern all lines intersect at single points.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;The issue I ran into is not knowing how to locate geometrically (non-arbitrarily) these points. The methods I looked into say one thing, but when drawn accurately in a vector program, it doesn't work.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Anyone have any tips or sources?

&lt;br/&gt;Most people are now aware of the importance of the Fibonacci Sequence, thanks to the best selling book: "The Da Vinci Code", by Dan Brown, whether or not the historical facts are true or false is not as important as how far-reaching the effect this book has had on the mass-consciousness. The success of this book means that a few more million people have heard of the once well-known Fibonacci Sequence of numbers:
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144 etc 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;They are derived by having a starting point of 0 and 1, the substance and binary language of all computers, and adding these two beginning numbers together:
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;0 + 1 = 1
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;This gives the third number of the sequence: 0, 1, 1,
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Then add the previous "1" to the last "1" which gives: 1 + 1 = 2
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Giving the fourth number of the sequence: 0, 1, 1, 2,
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;It's like adding the Past, to the Present, to give the Future, a veritable Trinity of Numbers, thus the next number would be:
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;1 + 2 = 3 and the continuing sequence becomes 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, and so on.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;

&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;The Human Body is the ultimate _expression of the Phi Ratio.
&lt;br/&gt;Where the elbow bends, compared to the whole length of the human arm, 
&lt;br/&gt;is in the Divine Proportion expressed mathematically as 21:34 of the Fibonacci Sequence.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;When we decimalize these ratios, they approach the number: 1.618033988 and travels to infinity. We call this relationship, when indexed against Unity, as the Phi Ratio: 1:1.618033988 and symbolize it by using a Greek letter of the alphabet that gives the "f" sound, called "Phi" or "f" (whereas most people are familiar with the "p" sound in the Greek language, called "Pi" or "p"). Some people incorrectly pronounce "Phi" as "fee" but I write it here to get it right for the future generations of Fibonatics that the correct pronunciation is expressed as the same sound heard in the nursery rhyme: 
&lt;br/&gt;"Fee, PHI, Fo, Fum, I smell the blood of an Englishmun".
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;The Phi Ratio is the living mathematics of Nature. We see these Fibonacci Numbers in the pentacle form of many flowers like the passionfruit; we see it in the Pine Cone, 8 spirals going one way intercepted by 13 spirals going the other way, and in the Sunflower, we see 21 Clockwise spirals versus 34 anti-Clockwise spirals. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Fig 2

&lt;br/&gt;We also see these numbers as the approximate distances of the planets from the sun, known in the scientific world as Bode's Law. Why are we awe-struck when we view Sacred Architecture like the Parthenon of Greece and the Pyramids of Gizeh. It has to do with Shape: the façade of the Parthenon is a Golden Rectangle, in the proportion of 21:34, which is identical to the proportion of the Human Body like where the elbow bends, where the knee bends, thus temples are reflecting our own internal symmetry, so we are literally seeing ourselves when we view beautiful buildings constructed in this awareness. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;So for thousands of years, great artists used this Fibonacci Sequence as the blueprint for their canvass. That is why we are attracted to the proportions of the famous Mona Lisa, as the outer rectangle that contains her form has the blueprint of theGolden or Phi Rectangle in the ratio of 21:34.In fact, she has become the global embodiment of the Phi Ratio. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;When I was in Tibet in 1990 I was with an artist who was painting his Thangkas or holy images of Buddha, and noticed the book that was the basis of all his measurements. It was referenced with the Fibonacci Numbers, making it law that every Buddha must be drawn in the Phi Rectangle otherwise it was considered bad energy. The classical book on this subject that introduces you to the universality of the Golden Mean as found in Nature is:

&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;"The Power of Limits" by Gyorgy Doczi, subtitled: Proportional Harmonies in Nature, Art and Architecture, an example of the Buddhist's canon is shown below.

&lt;br/&gt;Here is a very powerful or psycho-active diagram that changes consciousness, a diagram that brings together the worldview of the Scientist (factual measurements of the helical DNA) and the Metaphysician (someone who intuitively understands the higher meaning of the Phi Ratio). This bridging of 2 worlds is part of the change going on the planet now. When we view the twisting DNA molecule as it fits inside of a cylinder, and measure the critical distance from one atom to align itself to its original position after one complete turn or rotation around the central axis, like a spiraling vine would, our dear scientists noticed that the diameter was exactly 20 AU (Angstrom Units = one ten-millionth of a metre) and the vertical axial distance was 34 AU. You will notice that this relationship of 20:34 is almost identical to the Phi Ratio of 21:34. Metaphysicians are intrigued by this DNA Phyllotaxis and the mathematics of DNA approximating the Phi Ratio. They conjecture that pehaps we are not currently in the Phi Ratio, but are evolving to that ideal state. (A more paranoid interpretation would be that Someone, or some Race, in our distant past, created us humans as slaves in goldmines, engineered by the Extra-Terrestrial Masters of Gene-Splicing who were harvesting our planet for our DNA, and had genetically engineered as thus). This is one purpose of Sacred Geometry, is to start asking questions that bridge beliefs, knowledge and history of who we are.

&lt;br/&gt;If you were to visualize each flat square of the Fibonacci Numbers as a cube, 
&lt;br/&gt;you would produce a 3-Dimensional form of the 2-Dimensional flat spiral.

&lt;br/&gt;When we convert these Fibonacci Numbers into 3-Dimensional cubes, 
&lt;br/&gt;the resulting curve fits snuggly into the familiar sea-shell patterns.

&lt;br/&gt;Unfortunately, over time, this sacred symbol of the 3-Dimensional Phi Spiral, as most pagans know, was demonized and found its place as 2 twisting horns on the head of the notorious Christian Devil to stain the Sacred Spiral's divinity with Fear. Fear means that no access to this Memory can be achieved which keeps the masses in the Dark Ages, until Consciousness begins to awaken, as is happening now. Regarding the Demonization of the Pentacle, having placed an inverted pentagram on the Devil's Third Eye, most people understand that the divine symbol of the Witches Pentacle has also been smeared:

&lt;br/&gt;

&lt;br/&gt;The Pentacle, has over 200 expressions of 1:1.618 hidden within its simple geometry. 
&lt;br/&gt;Where any two lines intersect, the proportions happen to be Fibonacci Numbers. 
&lt;br/&gt;When you draw a smaller Pentacle inside the larger Pentacle, 
&lt;br/&gt;it reduces or compresses at the rate of 1.618. 
&lt;br/&gt;And so on forever, diminishing into the micro atom or enlarging to the macro universe.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;The Pentacle is considered the Male Aspect of Sacred Geometry, as it consists of straight lines. Whereas, when we view yantras or power diagrams that involve curves, like Fig 2 above, it is called the Female Aspect.
&lt;br/&gt;The ultimate symbol of the Phi ratio is The Infamous Pentacle.
&lt;br/&gt;All living proteins are pent shaped.
&lt;br/&gt;The Dodecahedron is the 3-Dimensional form of the 2-Dimensional Pentacle, the true shape that all Pagans must resonate to is known as the 5th Element of Ether or Spirit, the most important of the 5 Platonic Solids known as the Dodecahedron ("do" means "2" in Greek, and "dec" means "10", as in decimal or decade, and "hedron" means face. Thus it is a 12-faced polyhedron with 12 pentagonal sides where all ines and all angles and all faces are equal and all 20 vertices touch the sphere).

&lt;br/&gt;The diagram Fig 9 here shows the Infinite Series of the Dodecahedron, when stellated forms a larger Icosahedron of 20 triangular sides, and when this is stellated, the icosahedron forms the dodecahedron. Thus the infinite process continues, from the atom to the galaxy, the size or shape changes, which is the key to Alchemy, but what remains the same is the wavelength of 1.618033. 
&lt;br/&gt;This is called Scale Invariancy. 
&lt;br/&gt;Also, the 10 sided diagram above means that the 3-D Dodecahedron has a 2-D decagonal shadow or view, in the jargon of the sacred geometrician, it is shortened to "the dec view of the Dodeca".

&lt;br/&gt;Most people know for example that the Mastercard fits snuggly into the square of your hand, when you hold it, but if you examined the mathematics of this shape, it is a Phi Rectangle exactly 21:34.

&lt;br/&gt;The list of where Phi occurs in Nature, in Crystal, in Space, is endless.
&lt;br/&gt;After a while of studying these proportions, you begin to see it everywhere, as you walk through your town or forest. Ensure that your children learn the essence of this Living Mathematics of Nature.

&lt;br/&gt;"Only a society with a complex culture could have built such a monument," archaeologist Mariana Petry Cabral, of the Amapa Institute of Scientific and Technological Research (IEPA), told O Globo newspaper.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;The observatory was built of 127 blocks of granite each three meters (10 feet) high and regularly placed in circles in an open field, she said.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Cabral said the site resembles a temple which could have been used as an observatory, because the blocks are positioned to mark the winter solstice. In December, the path of the sun allows rays to pass through a hole in one of the blocks, possibly to calculate agricultural activity and religious rituals.....

      <title>A Hoop with a Golden Proportion</title>

      <description>&lt;div&gt;Well, after this post was DELETED off the hoopers tribe here I am in Sacred Geometry... a tribe of the many perplexing wonders all around! As a martial artist geometry has been a major center of exploration for me. I'm always trying to find new ways to experiement with the wonders that are around us. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;So here is a video of myself experimenting with a hoop I recieved from Sifu Rob Moses who I trained with in Hawaii. He is making staffs and sticks that are curved to the golden ratio. This video was taken a few days ago on 4-11-06 above Manzanita, Oregon. Beautifu Sunset that day!

&lt;br/&gt;This particular stick measures (a curved) 27" from tip to tip. It fits proportionally to my arm in both curve and length. The curve following the contours of the arm and the length goes from almost the center of my palm to the armpit. It has a unique balance and feel to it, and I believe this is because of it's being  shaped using the golden mean ratio for it's curve, which is what I am personally interested in experimenting in movement with right now, since the human form can be proportionally measured revealing the golden ratio again and again, this toy has proven to be worthwhile to experiment with.... and he says he's going to make some glow in the dark too!

      <title>Trigonometry and the Golden Ratio</title>

&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;If you have some experience with compass/ruler constructions try this- 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Determine the trigonometric values of angles such as 18, 36, 54, and 72 degreees. 
&lt;br/&gt;Express them in terms of the Golden Ratio and also express them in their simplest radical form. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Hint: You will find these angles in a regular pentagon. You will need to rigorously construct a pentagon. If you havn't done so - try some simpler constructions first. 
&lt;br/&gt;Arm yourself with a true understanding of the Pythagorean Theorem. Know some basic algebra so you can simplify expressions.

      <description>&lt;div&gt;Hello,
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I guess I could comfortably assume that this discussion space, labeled "Sacred Geometry" encompasses all the 
&lt;br/&gt;interesting points of view containing this subject already, or save my self from assumption by reading every article posted to correctly ensure that I don't redundify others entries; but I am too busy to do that so I'll just share...and forgive me if what I have to say has been covered. I don't condescend.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt; I am one who never studies any topic in depth by the means of material resources. I am storing up the solidarity for my plight on a cosmic plane as opposed to merely earthly. When I hear the words "Sacred Geometry, I immediately get the impression of something on a higher vibrating dimension than the ones on which our 3D selves most commonly interact as earth beings. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;My brain immediately fires off rarely used portions in preparation of perceiving the multi-dimensionality of the potential of such a phrase,  in hopes  that maybe the one construing this information is coming from a place in 
&lt;br/&gt;higher dimensional consciousness with the sense of the idea that all is aligned by one geometric fractile that is a reflection of the pointless axis of infinity and eternity; all pervading, and beyond what consciousness may ever attempt to fathom.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Tell me.    You who profess in the studies of these topics.  How close is my dumfound theory to what has actually been discovered about Sacred Geometry.

      <title>Golden Rectangle from a line?</title>

      <description>&lt;div&gt;Hello everyone, I have been pondering a problem that I hope someone here can help with. I am trying to figure out how to construct a golden rectangle by starting with just one line and using only a compass or straight edge. In other words, if I have a line of any given length, how does one go about constructing a golden rectangle from it? I haven't studied geometry in a long while and the method for producing a true right angle using only these two tools evades me. Don't have any real purpose for this, it was just a thought I had the other day and I can't give up on it. Thanks! &lt;/div&gt;

&lt;br/&gt;Rudolf Wittkower's Architectural Principles in the Age of Humanism, published in 1949, marks the beginning of the modern attempt to understand Renaissance architecture in its own terms. As Wittkower so effectively points out, those terms are not our terms. To understand them now requires a conscious act of the imagination. Among his most striking observations is this: spatial proportions occurring ubiquitously in architectural designs, such as 3:2, or 4:3, would have been understood then as "musical intervals", and could even be called diapente or diatessaron (the names for the musical fifth and fourth, respectively) without any misunderstanding or incongruity. Familiar as this idea may be now, having stood the test of the intervening fifty years, it is still not entirely clear what it means. Wittkower was careful to say that it does NOT mean that such designs were simply translations of music into architecture. Rather, both musical and architectural theory in this period seem to rest on a Pythagorean faith in the importance of number: music demonstrates the importance of number in the most immediate way, but informed architecture can do so as well. As Palladio said, The proportions of the voices are harmonies for the ears; those of the measurements are harmonies for the eyes. Such harmonies usually please very much, without anyone knowing why, excepting the student of the causality of things. [1]

      <description>&lt;div&gt;Hey I'm new,   I have a device,which is a Sacred Geometry Caliper(picture at my site). The first time I saw it was in a museum on the Brittany coast.There was an exhibit of Rennaissance illustrations(I have forgotten by who)and a sketch of a strange 3 pronged compass.I was traveling across France on a motorcycle studying art and architecture,the year was 1969,Iwas 15.Those images never left my head.A couple of years ago,I purchased a copy of Salvador Dali's,50 Secrets of Magic Craftsmanship.Inside, to my amazement was a pen&amp;amp;ink sketch of the very device cleverly charactured in a cartoon as if it were made from branches of a tree.He states that Leonardo Da Vinci gave plans for a model of said device to Luca Pacioli.I have alot of laser-cutting of parts done for my sculptures and decorative arts constructions.The laser is computer controlled and exceedingly accurate in every way.I determined to reproduce this device by modern methods and with modern materials(stainless steel) and mild steel for the hand acid-etched Celtic ornamented version (the one in the picture).It is a handy device for devining Golden Proportions et al.spirals etc. and has become a standard reference tool in my box of tricks.Anybody ever seen one of these before?Apparently many of the architect/artists in the Rennaissance had them.Too bad the architects of our time don't.     &lt;/div&gt;

&lt;br/&gt;I'm looking for [a] serious artist[s] to collaborate with on a on Occult project, specifically the creation of a new Tarot deck with reworking of the original cards plus a whole slew of new major arcana.  I am a dedicated student of the Occult and no mean researcher.  I also have access to the kind of private libraries which can provide a rather endless wealth of the type of information, pictorial and otherwise, needed for this project.  I have already done quite a bit of work on this concept, and am looking for an artists to collaborate on the project with me. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;The ideal artist[s] would have some occult interests of their own but no fixed notions of what a 'proper' deck would contain. . .  The right artist would be excited to illustrate the cards, just as I am excited to provide conceptual guidance and feedback as to the symbolic content of the images and write an accompanying pamphlet/book designed to explicate the cards.  The artist would need to have an elegant and subtle style which lends itself to Occult materials, and a focus on details so as to be able to convey subtle symbolism.  I am also looking for someone who is a serious and reliable person -- I take this very seriously, so don't reply unless you are prepared to as well.

&lt;br/&gt;There would, of course, be no pay up front, but good tarot decks sell very well and the project could conceivably become quite lucrative  -- most of the decks out there are damn ugly in my opinion, and most of them are poorly conceived of and researched.  I have some tenuous connections to the world of professional publishing and whatnot, but the product would have to stand on its own merits.  The project would also, if successful, really raise the profile of the artist involved, perhaps to an international level.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;My conceptual work is sound and compelling, and I need a gifted artist to help me reify it.  Are you that person?

      <description>&lt;div&gt;The patterns we see in the photographs provide us with a clue to how memory works with mind and brain. The book I need to find the corroberating quote is in a box in Western Massachusetts. The paraphrase is something like this. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;A neurobiologist speculated that the sodium and pottassium atoms on either side of the nerve membrane might use the directional spin of electrons to organize and record the code for memory function. In doing so, the quantum level of memory would thus be high enough to approach an infinite aligning of combinations. When a memory goes into a cell, the recording awaits until it then needs to be sent back out whereupon the pattern is read back to the outer layer to be sent with other codes from other cells to form the holgraphic image for a memory recall.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt; If this happens, the construct must pattern some existing structure in the universe, and all geometric forms possible can be the pattern. Thus for something simple like HOT! might appear only as a sphere or cube while making love for the first time would tax Bucky Fuller's most complex dreams of geodesics. The surface and interior of the structure would look like one of Alex Gray's art pieces.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;The garden of the mind is continually flowering such structures in an unlimited flow of thought at least as big and grand as our external universe. The tube torous nature of this seething vibrating boiling thoughtform changes at the rate of 40 billion bits a second.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;This is what makes our imagination powerful as the subconscious mind then sets out to accomplish a long held picture into the physical plane. So when we think of something like the first time we made love, or the first time we smoked a joint, or the first NASCAR race we went to, our body becomes slave to recreating the image and adding to it memory experience that grows the holographic interface of geometric expansion.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;How do we deal with the mundane like Fundamentalist Islam? Imagination is the key.

      <description>&lt;div&gt;Been doing some research on the Throne of Osiris . . .
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Heron of Alexandria, a 1st century AD Greek mathematician, defined a gnomon as "any figure which, when added to an original figure, leaves the resultant figure similar to the original." This is the symbol of growth by accretion, or evolution from a seed point. From the ground plan of a Hindu temple to the Throne of Osiris, this principle of gnomic expansion, or growth by accumulative increase, has been used throughout history to represent the unfoldment of space/time.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Identifying the Gnomon in verious cultures has been extremely easy - however I have yet to find an actual photograph of the Flower of Life from the Temple of Osiris in Abydos? Can anyone provide me with this reference or at least confirm that it does in fact reside there?

&lt;br/&gt;I have explored numerous techniques for the creation of a pentagon (using compass and rule) and simply cannot fathom a relationship . . .

&lt;br/&gt;on the subject of sacred geometry, i have to say i don't know much. what started my interest in it was a light engineer for a band named Sound Tribe Sector 9, based in Santa Cruz. he knows a lot about the subject and applies his knowledge (and intentions and prayers) to his lighting formation for STS9's live stage.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;does anyone know about Rangavalli or Rangoli? they are daily drawings from the thresholds of homes in South india (and perhaps other areas in India). Influenced by Buddhist and Hindu imagery they are drawn daily by the women of the household to ward of evil and to bring good fortune to the family. on some occasions the entire family is involved in drawing them. often, they draw them twice a day, in the morning and before dusk. they also use cow shit mixed with mud and ash to make little balls to decorate drawings.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;they are all done by hand, out of their heads. no blueprints of any kind are referred to, when they draw them. they use brilliantly colored sand powders that are sold in local markets.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;and they are beautiful, especially realizing that they are not drawn with graphic software on computers and they don't seem to repeat the patterns.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;but what do they mean in Indian tradition?
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;and what do they mean to you, who are knowledgeable about sacred geometry?

      <title>Advanced Geodesic Dome Question</title>

      <description>&lt;div&gt;Advanced Geodesic Dome Question
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;This summer I plan on building an elliptical geodesic dome. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I based it off an octahedron frequency 5. I stretched my face triangle so that the corners all matched up with a 20 by 30 ellipse. I then projected lines from the center to every intersection on my face triangle. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I used spherical coordinates to find all my points, built an excel spreadsheet to calculate strut lengths, central angles, plotted them in AutoCAD......DOME.

&lt;br/&gt;Here is my Question.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;When I kept the divisions on my equilateral triangle proportionally correct while I manipulated it to fit into the ellipsoid the projections give huge differences in Strut length, varying from 2.5’ in the corners to over 6’ in the middle.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;The engineer in me says that if my strut lengths were closer to the same length I’d have a stronger dome.  I look at my face triangle and I think I could shrink the triangles near the center and that would help when I do my projection...  
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;So, what is the best way to go about this?
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Should I feel responsible for coming up with a relationship for the projected strut lengths and that of the face triangle and then manipulate accordantly?
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Is there any written material covering this problem? 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I know if I have all my struts the same length, I end up with all my points on a plane. I want to keep the same general curvature but would like more uniform struts. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I’m tempted to simply estimate, pull the inner triangles in and recalculate. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Then there is my other question.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;If I do this, is it going to mess with the dome's ability to transfer forces throughout the structure? Is my gain in strength from shorter strut lengths going to be negated by odd angles? 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;

Never got much past basic algebria in high school but aced and loved geometry in and then symbolic logic in college.  Therefore, my memory of the the mathematical formulas is sketchy but am not as focused on the formulas for this presentation as i am on being able to show the connections between ourselves both inner and outer and nature/the universe/and other relams.

      <title>The Harmonizer Table: An Enneagram Centred Communication Tool</title>

It feels like a jump point into a alternative dimension, one where people place their attention on things that actually are based upon universal principles, rather than mechanized illusions. I am extremely pleased to be able to participate in this place to connect.

&lt;br/&gt;I have built a communication tool called the Harmonizer Table that uses sacred geometry as the organizing structure. The enneagram is the symbol that is the main symbol used. Most people know the enneagram as a personality type indicator. There is much more to it, the manifestation of nineness.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;There is a picture of it in the photo gallery and the intention I have is to start to share with people what I have learned over the past 3 years while building the prototype and betatesting the tool.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I am looking to learn from other wizards &amp;amp; high prietesses who play in this realm and to receive feedback in regards to what will be shared. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Has anyone else played with the enneagram from the perspective of mapping processes? Has anyone built anything using the enneagram? 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I rarely see it in the work I have found on sacred geometry.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;For the people who are unfamilair with the enneagram,  take a calendar and divide any primary number by 7 (except 7). You get the same recurring 6 numbers:142857142857142857142857....
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;It is a cosmic code. No 3,6 or 9. That is the primary triad. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I look forward to meeting anyone who is interested in participating in an exploration conversation about this tool and see what comes out of it.&lt;/div&gt;

      <title>Sacred geometry, Crop Circles and Cymatics</title>

      <description>&lt;div&gt;I had a vision that alot of the Crop Circles that have been forming on this Earth, are the result of huge sound vibrations directed to certain spots on this planet via certain sound mediums like large crystal oscillators or large tonoscopes. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;'Sound' can manifest into 'form' through the medium of various materials. "In the beginning was the word..." takes on a whole new meaning when you understand 'cymatics'. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Its so fascinating... whether it be from outside our world, or from the Top Secret Domes of scientific experiments here on Earth, it is fascinating that 'sound' can create the most beautiful geometric patterns ever created. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;In 1815 the American mathematician Nathaniel Bowditch began studying the patterns created by the intersection of two sine curves whose axes are perpendicular to each other, sometimes called Bowditch curves but more often Lissajous figures. (se below right) This after the French mathematician Jules-Antoine Lissajous, who, independently of Bowditch, investigated them in 1857-58. Both concluded that the condition for these designs to arise was that the frequencies, or oscillations per second, of both curves stood in simple whole-number ratios to each other, such as 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, and so on. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Since these discoveries, the Higher Scientific field and minds of this world have been experiementing and using these tools in the study of Sound Creation, unbenownst to the general public. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;What creates the variations in the shapes of these designs is the phase differential, or the angle between the two curves. In other words, the way in which their rhythms or periods coincide. If, on the other hand, the curves have different frequencies and are out of phase with each other, intricate web-like designs arise. These Lissajous figures are all visual examples of waves that meet each other at right angles. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;As you ponder the connection between these figures and other areas of knowledge, one comes to think about the concept that exists in many societies and their mythologies around the world, which describes the world as a web (crossing sine waves). For example, many of the Mesoamerican people regarded the various parts of the universe as products of spinning and weaving: "Conception and birth were/.../ compared with the acts of spinning and weaving; all the Aztec and Mayan creation and fertility goddesses were described as great weavers." A number of waves crossing each other at right angles look like a woven pattern, and it is precisely that they meet at 90-degree angles that gives rise to Lissajous figures. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;In 1967, the late Hans Jenny, a Swiss doctor, artist, and researcher, published the bilingual book Kymatik -Wellen und Schwingungen mit ihrer Struktur und Dynamik/ Cymatics - The Structure and Dynamics of Waves and Vibrations. In this book Jenny, like Chladni two hundred years earlier, showed what happens when one takes various materials like sand, spores, iron filings, water, and viscous substances, and places them on vibrating metal plates and membranes. What then appears are shapes and motion- patterns which vary from the nearly perfectly ordered and stationary to those that are turbulently developing, organic, and constantly in motion. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Jenny made use of crystal oscillators and an invention of his own by the name of the tonoscope to set these plates and membranes vibrating. This was a major step forward. The advantage with crystal oscillators is that one can determine exactly which frequency and amplitude/volume one wants. It was now possible to research and follow a continuous train of events in which one had the possibility of changing the frequency or the amplitude or both. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;The tonoscope was constructed to make the HUMAN VOICE VISIBLE without any electronic apparatus as an intermediate link. This yielded the amazing possibility of being able to see the physical image of the vowel, tone or song a human being produced directly. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Not only could you hear a melody - you could see it, too! 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Jenny called this new area of research Cymatics, which comes from the Greek kyma, wave. Cymatics could be translated as: the study of how vibrations, in the broad sense, generate and influence patterns, shapes and moving processes. 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;When the "OM" is uttered into a tonoscope which transfers the sound into its visual geometric representative, it creates a pattern identical to the SRI YANTRA Mantra. Isn't that incredible! 
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;We live in such a wonderous Universe... everything is sound, vibration, geometry and light waves: with the basis and power of love as its root.

      <title>Matrix of Creation</title>

      <description>&lt;div&gt;Matrix of Creation by Richard Heath. Inner Traditions, Rochester, VT. 2004. $14.95 pb.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;"Sacred Geometry in the Realm of the Planets" is the subtitle of this book. Number came before creation, says Richard. Many would agree with him that creation, with its forms, arose from number.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I think of the planet Uranus. Even in the watered-down meanings in which planets have come down to us, the function of Uranus is to open us to knowledge which is already "out there." We realize that all invention, ruled by Uranus, already exists. We only allow these "new ideas" to come into our minds, and Uranus helps us to do that.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;(Richard reminds us that Uranus became Prometheus, who was punished by Zeus for bringing fire?light?to humankind. This in itself can be a long story, and it has many number-symbol-planetary relationships.)
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;All of those ideas to which Uranus opens us, many would argue, are underlain by number.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Richard Heath gets very specific. He talks about the underlying numerical relationships in the solar system. They are truly mind-boggling. He says that indeed, the ancients did live in the enchanted world which we hear about through myth and legend, e.g., a Golden Age. Their world was enchanted for them because they were alive to these marvelous numerical relationships. In fact, they patterned their lives after them in many ways. They lived with the universe, and invoked its awesome beauty and power.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;That number knowledge of the skies is now called "secret," because we?ve forgotten it. (My editorial comment: with many thanks to patriarchal religions?) And yet, these ancient mathematical principles still surround us. Richard examines mythology, music, monuments, and units of measurement in terms of ratio, and specifically the golden mean, and shows how they match the geometry of the planets.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Richard explains many sky puzzes, e.g., the discrepancy between the solar year, and lunar months, which has pushed many idealists into creating time patterns which don?t apply to life as we know it.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;The solar-lunar cycle can be considered three years in length, because in three years, 37 lunations, it is off by only 3 days. A better fit is the Metonic cycle of 19 years, or 235 lunations, which is off by only 2 hours. Although Richard does not go into eclipses, their cycles and their placements relate to Metonic cycles.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Everything is connected, and Richard demonstrates many of those connections through number.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Saturn?s and Jupiter?s numbers both are very interconnected with Moon. I find this especially interesting because conceptually Saturn and Jupiter are the team who run our normal, social earth life, such as all of our institutions, those frameworks within which we live and work. Moon, on the other hand, is very closely connected with the daily behavior of us humans who live within those frameworks.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;So this interrelationship is true not just conceptually and through observation, but there are underlying mathematical connections which are undeniable.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;This is a fascinating and very basic book. It is not long. Everything which Richard discusses could be pursued at length. I?m sure he could have written an encyclopedia. But he has chosen to condense enough evidence to demonstrate the validity of his premise, and as a basis for stimulating readers to do their own research.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Richard?s brother, Robin, writes the preface. As he says, "The integration of Earth?s mysteries?geodesy, geomantics, and metrology?with the core content of myths and legends means that Matrix of Creation will appeal to psychologists, mythologists, astrologers, and alternative thinkers in addition to being essential reading for astronomers, mathematicians, metrologists, and historians."
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;I am very happy to see such a clear and accessible vindication and integration of ancient knowledge. This is a very special book, from many standpoints.
&lt;br/&gt;

Clinical reminders prompt clinicians at the point of care and support both clinical practice guidelines and performance measures.
